How to publish.Writers, if you are
frustrated with the difficulty of even having your book looked at by a literary
agent, this is your chance to find a readership.
If you have
a
previously unpublished book that you would like us to publish here,
please forward it to
blankslatebooks@q.com. You will need to
attach it as a .pdf, .doc, or .txt file, no larger than 2MB, and it must be formatted
ready for publication - if you're not sure what that means, your book probably
isn't ready! In the body of your email, you must include a one paragraph
synopsis telling potential readers what the book is about. Don't forget to include your contact information.
There is no fee for publication and there is no charge to the reader.
Please note that
by sending us your work, you are granting us a worldwide license to publish it on our website
free of charge and without restriction.
You remain entirely responsible
for the content of your work, and Blank Slate will accept no responsibility or
liability for what it contains. Please do not send us pornography, defamatory
articles, anything that incites hatred against any group of people, or that
encourages criminal behavior. Do not send us any work in which you don't
own the copyright, or which has been published in any form previously. Due
to the 2MB size restriction, we are unable to accept works that include
pictures. However, if you have a cover design, please forward that as a
separate .jpg file. In addition, please tell us if the work contains
strong language, sexual scenarios and/or violence; we would like to
forewarn readers of such content.
We reserve the right to refuse to publish any work, for any reason.
You may have your work withdrawn from publication on this site by giving us
28 days notice in writing.
